I'm excited to now offer thank-you card folders. These are a great way to include your wedding photos in a traditional card format. Write your special message on the inside left and pop in your favorite wedding photo in the slots to the right! The cutie shown in my photo is Ari, my Yorkie who is also employed as the studio greeter and some times tries to get my clients to throw toys for him!

Global Entrepreneurship Week
In light of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) has asked me to participate in a panel of young Entrepreneurs on November 17th at NAIT. Pinkpolka Design has affiliation with CYBF through a start-up loan which was granted last year. The program thus far has been a wonderful experience and they also matched me with a mentor who has been invaluable. If you know anyone who is interested in owning their own business pass along the invitation to the event. Below is all the information for the evening.

Real Wedding :: MacKenzie & Joshua's Art Decco Stationery
This was one of my favorite reception stationery projects. I loved the stylized artwork and the bright variety of colors with the olive green, burnt orange and purple. The pictures from Nuance Occasions turned out wonderful and I am so glad I was a part of this gorgeous wedding!

Real Wedding :: Caley & Ryan's Mountain Wedding
I wish I could have attended this wedding! Even though I worked with Caley, who lives in Calgary, over phone and email I got a full impression of her beaming personality. From what I could tell this wedding had tons of charm and character, not to mention and amazing menu that made me drool at my computer as I designed it! Enjoy a few shots of their reception stationery compliments of Peak Photography. Thanks to Caley & Ryan for letting me share in their special day.

Real Wedding :: Reanne & Peter's Wedding
Last weekend I had the honor to serve as a maid of honor for my best friend Reanne. Together, we planned the decor for this lovely event. She put so much hard work into every detail of this wedding and seeing it pull together was amazing. My dear friend Johwanna of tobeinpictures.com was the photographer for the event and I can't wait to share her work with you all as well! Here is a little sneak peak of some of the shots that infused studios shot for our decor items.

Stagette T's
I know it's customary to dress the bride up in silly and embarrassing outfits for her stagette celebration, but if you have a conservative and tasteful bride it's nice to give them a custom design tee that reflects their personality! That's what I've done here for my good friend Reanne. Check out the cute designs I came up with. A potential future product? What do you think, would your bride like to wear one of these? Leave a comment and let me know!

Sneek Peak - Behind the scenes of our 2010 ads!
Today was the photo shoot for our 2010 ads. The images turned out better than I imagined and am so lucky to have had some help from wonderful friends. Anthony & Rina of Infused Studios took the photographs for me and did an amazing job. Once I get the images back I will make sure to post them! My good friend Crystal from Bare Esthetics provided the beautiful make-up artistry and Bailey, my cousin, from Mousy Brown's did a fabulous up-do on the hair! Of course my model, Jacqueline, was more than I could have asked for. Her beauty and fabulous figure made her a perfect candidate as my bride model. Luckily she also had a gorgeous dress from her recent wedding in August. Thank you so much everyone for your help today!

Real Wedding :: Melissa & Mark's Dancefloor Graphic
I had a wonderful time working with Melissa and Mark for their wedding reception stationery. The paisley, black and white turned out beautifully. Their wedding was in Newfoundland so Melissa was awesome to send me some pictures of the big event. Along with the dance floor graphic they completed their stationery with candy bag labels, menus, favor tent cards, and a guest book.

Real Wedding :: Courtenay & Trevor
This wedding was totally vintage chic and I absolutely loved the fabulous yellow and grey color scheme. Courtenay has a great sense of style and her diy projects look wonderful along with my stationery! A big thanks to Jolyn at Nuance Occasions for all of her vision for this wedding as well. I also discovered a wonderful photographer, Kelsy Nielson, who I had no idea existed. Her work is lovely, you can check out her website at www.knphoto.ca. You can see more photos from Courtney & Trevor's wedding on her blog at www.knphoto.blogspot.com.

Real Wedding :: Carilynn & Conor's Country Charm
Yesterday I celebrated the wedding of my dear friend and client, Carilynn. It was amazing to see all her hard work and vision come together for a beautiful, vivid and sincere reception. Her family played such an important role from her mother making the cake to her mother-in-law making over 250 jars of jam from berries that Carilynn and other family members hand-picked. The country charm was clear in so many details such as the galvanized pail center pieces, yellow plaid fabric and the fresh lemonade stand. Below are photographs of stationery details.

Custom Wall Vinyl
Being a graphic designer, I love big, bold and graphic shapes. I also love animals! Saying that, I decided to adorn my office walls with custom designed vinyl die-cuts of deer, birds and flowers. This is a great product to make a statement. These vinyl die-cuts can also be used for any custom wedding decor on dance floors, entrance walls or windows. Think of how beautiful your custom designed monogram would look on the entrance doors to your venue!
